We were honoured today to welcome Mr Robert Brett, who was an actual pupil at St Thomas of Canterbury when WW2 was declared!  Mr Brett told the children all about his experiences and how War was declared 2 days before he joined our school.  The children asked lots of very good questions about Mr Brett’s life during the War.  He spent the first 5 years of the War at this school and has many many memories.  It was such an inspiring and interesting talk and we would thank to thank Mr Brett for his time and his wonderful stories.
