St Thomas of Canterbury is a Voluntary Aided Catholic Primary School in the diocese of Southwark. The school exists primarily to serve the Catholic community; however, the Governing Body welcomes applications, subject to availability, of places from non-catholic families who support the religious ethos of the school.

COVID -19 Pandemic
On the advice of the Education Commission of the Archdiocese of Southwark, and the suspension of the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, we have issued the following statement in the event of oversubscription. Please see the addendum document below.

Addendum Document

The responsibility for the admission of pupils rests with the Governors who are the admitting authority. After consulting with the Local Authority the Governors tend to admit 30 pupils per Reception class at the beginning of the school year which starts in September.

Tours of the school are usually undertaken every Wednesday at 9:30am.  Parents looking for nursery or reception places are encouraged to contact our Admissions Officer Jennifer Newton on 0208 648 0869 Option 5 or via email on to discuss any queries and book a place on the tour.
