What is the purpose of sports day in school?

 

The main idea of a sports day in school is to encourage children to have fun, to get active and to work together in various fun physical activities and challenges.

 

On your marks, get set, GO ...

 

Today was Sports Day for the Year 6 children only.  On Friday they will be helping the rest of the school at their Sports Day providing some very worthwhile support.

 

Despite the weather being miserable, the children gave it their all.   Jumping, running, and throwing were the order of the day and it was a great success.  The children had a blast!

 All the points from today will be carried forward to the whole school Sports Day on Friday/Monday depending on the weather.  

 

Who will be Champions?????    RED, BLUE, YELLOW or GREEN
